Assure's Herbal Complex

Mr. Benjamin Yaw Esson, is a hardworking medical professional with decades of experience into the practice of herbal medicine. My education began at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST, studying Herbal Medicine, a 6year program that took me through the study of the human body and herbs that heal.

After my education my carrier took me to Greater Accra, where I worked with Lord Healthcare/ Save Your Liver Foundation. There I helped many individuals living with hepatitis b and various liver related conditions. The journey there involved diagnosing, education, prescriptions and public education on the radio.

From there I was sent to the Upper East Regional Hospital, in Bolgatanga. For a decade, I was the only Medical Herbalist in the region and worked hard to help with the integration into the mainstream practice of herbal medicine. There I worked tirelessly with various NGOs to help indigenous practitioner improve on their practice, encourage referrals to the Regional Hospital, avoid the treatment of certain conditions, and so on. I also helped many individuals who loved herbal medicine to get the best care possible.

Then I had the opportunity to study Masters in Public health at the University of South Wales. The education helped me to appreciate how diseases are associated with the population, how it is spread, what populations are vulnerable to what conditions and what measures can be taken to help them recover or make them better. I therefore applied the knowledge in my little practice at Assure's Herbal Complex, and at Tafo Government Hospital, where I worked then.

Through my carrier I rose to the position of Deputy Chief Medical Herbalist, and with all that experience in the public practice, I decided to translate it into the private practice where I can help more who desire to use herbal medicine. Herbal medicine is meant to be used in its natural form with is hard to do when the systems in the institution does not allow that. At Assure's Herbal Complex I had over 60 natural herbs, which are well collected dried and preserved to maintain its constituents in the highest quantities. These herbs are used in managing various disease conditions alone or in combination with other herbs to ensure optimal well-being and reduced side effects.
